- Short answers to what people ask first: what d2 is, aiputty.com, running your own d2, the agents, what it costs.

What is d2?¶
d2 is the engine behind aiputty.com: a domain-model driven agentic engine. You say what you want to make; d2's agents (designers, coders, a dispatcher…) build it with you, and d2 keeps them to the rules of your app's model. Agents are random… d2 is not!
Is aiputty.com the same as d2?¶
No. d2 is the engine; aiputty.com is one d2, run as a service for everyone who signs up there. They're separate because you can run your own d2, on your own box, for your own projects. The engine, its Spec and its skills are the same wherever it runs.
Can I run my own d2?¶
Yes: that's why d2 is a thing of its own. Your own d2 serves your projects at your own addresses, with your own agents and keys.
What are the agents?¶
AIs working on your project in roles: a designer works out the Spec and the design with you, coders build it, a dispatcher hands out the work and releases it. See Agents.
What does it cost?¶
Bring your own AI and d2 costs your plan. Or use d2's smart agents on credits you buy, with a daily allowance you set yourself. See Pricing.
Is d2 the same as diesel?¶
d2 is diesel2, a new code base that keeps diesel's ideas (domain-driven apps, built by AI or by hand) and nothing of its code.
