DocReview (/page/DocReview?topic=<doc>) shows a doc with a margin beside it. You point at what's unclear or wrong; your AI answers there and edits the doc's draft. Nothing you write goes into the doc itself.
Open a doc¶
- Click the Find a doc box at the top: it lists every doc of the project. Type to narrow it, then pick one with the arrows and Enter, or click it.
- The address keeps the doc, so you can reload or share the link.
Comment, ask, or ask for a change¶
- Click a heading to pick its section, or click a paragraph to pick just that one. A + appears beside it.
- Press +: a card opens level with it. Write a comment, a question, or what to change, then Comment or Ask (⌘↵ / Ctrl+Enter saves).
- Select text first and the card quotes it.
- Cards stay level with their paragraph as you scroll. They're saved as comments on that section of the doc, so you'll find them in the doc's Comments tab too.
Who answers¶
- The line at the top says is following when Mind Meld is on and you have a live chat with an agent. Each card you save goes to it as a line in that chat, and it answers on the card.
- With no agent following, a card goes to your designer as a thought: it still gets answered, on its next pass.
- An answer can offer choices: pick one and press Send pick.
What changed¶
- Your agent changes the doc's draft, never the published text.
- Green bar: the paragraph changed for one of your cards. The card offers See original.
- Grey bar: the paragraph changed in the draft for another reason. Click it to see what it said when it was published.
- A paragraph changed for you flashes once the first time you see it.
Finish¶
- Press Done (top or bottom) when you're through. Your agent sums the review up and publishes the draft on your word.
