The box on your home: type what you want. d2 does the canvas words and @ # / at once; anything else goes to your agent as a chat.

The canvas box

The box at the top of your home is where everything starts. Type what you want and press Enter (Shift+Enter for a new line). Under the box, d2 shows how it read your line before you send it: the verb, who does it (d2, at once or the designer (a chat)) and what it costs (nothing, or your allowance).

Two kinds of line:

  • Canvas words and the magic characters below: d2 does them at once, free.
  • Anything else goes to your agent (the designer, or the role you name) as a chat: make a new app: lesson bookings.

The + next to the box lists everything you can start; the grey line under it cycles examples: tap one to put it in the box, × hides them (show the examples brings them back).

The magic characters

  • @role starts a chat with that agent, your words as its first message: @designer make the lessons page wider
  • #focus makes a Focus and opens it: #focus the spring recital
  • #thought saves a thought: #thought call the venue on Monday
  • Any #tag saves the line as a thought with those tags (#bug, #idea…): #bug the Go button does nothing on my iPad. With Mind Meld at Active, a #bug or #idea also goes to the designer.
  • / opens a page on the stage: type a few letters and pick, as /pipeline, /thoughts, /agents, /toolbox or any /path.
  • $ (a dollar and a space) picks one of d2's actions by name, the same ones your words are read as (publish is topic.publish): type a few letters, pick, fill it in.

While you type @, #, / or $ , a list offers what fits; ↑ ↓ and Enter pick.

Canvas words (d2, at once)

  • Open things on the stage: home, open thoughts, show the pipeline, go to agents, open toolbox, open executive, open focus razie-12, open page Billing, open /settings. The Recent row under the box goes back to them.
  • Sections: add a section called Lessons, remove the Lessons section, move Apps up (or down, to the top, to the bottom).
  • Widgets: add a widget to show the pipeline, show me the concept model, put the d2 widget in Lessons, remove the pipeline widget. When no widget fits, the line goes to the designer, who makes one.
  • Examples and samples: remove the examples, show the examples, remove the samples, bring back the samples.
  • Agents: onboard my agents opens agent onboarding.

Everything else

A line that isn't one of the above, like make a new app: lesson bookings or add a journey: sign up, book a lesson, pay, goes to your designer as a chat. It counts against your allowance, and the result shows on your canvas: a new app appears under Apps.
