Flows: see what the engine just ran¶✎ edit
Flows lists the last flows the engine ran, newest first. Each row says whether it passed and links to the flow itself, with its full trace.
The page is for members of the project. A visitor sees Members only.
Each row¶✎ edit
- The story that ran.
- A verdict:
- doesn't parse: the story has a syntax error.
- stopped with an error: it failed while running.
- n of m expects failed: some checks didn't hold.
- n expects pass: every check held.
- done: it ran, with no checks.
- When it started (to the second, in your time zone), how many ms it took, its trace steps and how many specs it used.
- ran n times in a row, when the same story ran again soon after.
- Its DomEngine id.
Click a row to open that flow: its trace, the story's syntax tree and the result.
How long flows are kept¶✎ edit
Only the last few flows are kept; the number is at the top of the page. Runs of the same story within a minute, as in the Fiddle while you type, update one row. Flows are kept in memory, so a restart clears them.
With none yet, the page points you to the Fiddle to run a story.
Examples¶✎ edit
- "Did the story I just ran pass?" Look at the top row's verdict: green expects pass, or red with how many failed.
- "Why did my flow fail?" Click its row and read the trace to find the step that went wrong.
- "Why is my flow from this morning gone?" Only the last few are kept, and a restart clears them. Run the story again.
