- the Docs page - your project's topics as tiles or a list, picking several to tag or delete, and reading two or three side by side
Help: Docs¶✎ edit
Docs (the top bar's Docs, /topics) lists your project's topics. Pick a chip to see one kind, or a tag on the left to narrow the list.
Tiles or a list¶✎ edit
The Tiles | List toggle beside New switches between cards and a table. d2 remembers your choice. The List shows each topic's first sentence, its tags and when it last changed, and sorts by any column.
Act on several at once¶✎ edit
In the List, tick the topics you want, or tick the header to pick every row shown. In Tiles, tick the box in a tile's top-right corner. A bar appears:
- Add tag and Remove tag change all of them at once.
- Archive tags them
archive, to keep them out of the way without deleting them. - Compare, with two or three picked, opens them side by side. It shows only when none is a Page or an App.
- Delete sends them to the Trash for 30 days.
- Clear unpicks them.
Only topics you may edit have a box. Inherited ones don't.
Side by side¶✎ edit
Compare shows two or three topics next to each other, using the whole screen width, each scrolling on its own: handy for a spec beside its design, or two versions of an idea. Pick two or three in Docs and press Compare, or open it with the topics' names, e.g. /page/Compare?topics=Help:Settings,Help:Drafts, and add or close columns there. Pages and Apps aren't compared: open them on their own.
