- scheduled jobs, the project's crons and d2's built-in jobs
- brief
- Scheduled jobs. A project's admins see and run its own crons; the Architect also sees d2's built-in jobs (archives, sweeps, heartbeat) from any project. Each job keeps 7 days of runs.
Help: Crons¶✎ edit
Project admins; built-in jobs for the Architect. Crons (/crons) lists the jobs that run on a schedule.
- Diesel crons are the project's own: a flow (usually the init page) declares them with
diesel.cron. Admins turn them on or off and Run now. - Built-in jobs are d2's own — the audit, chatbox and history archives, status sampling, the agents heartbeat, the payment and token sweeps. Only the Architect sees them, from any project, and can switch them off or run them now; they can't be removed.
- Runs: open a job to see every run of the last 7 days: when, scheduled or run by whom, how long, the result, and what it did (counts, files written, or the error). Older runs are dropped.
- Failures: a failed run is in the job's runs and in the audit log; a diesel cron that fails 5 times in a row is switched off and its owner told.
