Chatpad: answer your designer's pads✎ edit

Chatpad is a page for the pads your designer sends: cards of options you pick and send back. The chat sits beside it, so you can read, pick and talk in one place.

The heading shows the pad on screen, like Chatpad (718). Before the designer sends any, it says The designer's options show here.

Answer a pad✎ edit

  • Each card is one question. Tap an option to pick it.
  • Comment opens a box under the card to write a note. 🎤 opens it with the microphone already on, so you can speak instead.
  • Send this sends the card. A comment you typed goes with it.
  • A line on the pad that starts with $ is a ready-made message. Tap it to put it in the chat's message box, then send it. If the box isn't open, open the chat first.

Pad or chat✎ edit

The Pad and Chat buttons switch between the pad and the chat.

Pin a pad✎ edit

📌 Pin in the heading pins the pad on screen. It then reads 📌 Pinned; press it again to unpin. Pinned pads have an orange tab.

Which pads are kept✎ edit

Chatpad keeps your newest 20 pads and shows 10 on a phone. Older ones are removed, except the ones you pinned. Pin a pad you want to come back to.

Examples✎ edit

  • "The designer gave me three layouts. How do I pick one and say why?" Tap the layout on its card, press Comment, write your reason, then Send this.
  • "I'm on my phone. Can I answer without typing?" Press 🎤 on the card and speak your comment.
  • "How do I keep the pad with the plan we agreed?" Open it and press 📌 Pin. It stays when newer pads push old ones out.
